About ILASS-Americas
ILASS-Americas, the Institute for Liquid Atomization and Spray Systems, North and South America, was established in 1986 as an outgrowth of the International Conference on Liquid Atomization and Spray Systems (ICLASS).
In 2018, we are excited to be hosting the 14th triennial International Conference on Liquid Atomization and Spray Systems from 22-26 July 2018 in Chicago, IL.
Membership is open to residents of countries that are part of the American continents. ILASS organizations have also been formed in Europe, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia and there is an International Coordinating Council.
We are governed by a Board of Directors and joined by over 1100 members that share the same interests and enthusiasm for spray technology.
Members meet annually in the spring at a pivotal conference and exhibition and showcase six technical committees that address the applications, analyses, and mechanisms associated with sprays and spray systems. Just some of those include:
