About the Conference

Mini-Calendar:

ILASS-2004 is the 17th Annual Conference on Liquid Atomization and Spray Systems, North and South America. Like previous ILASS conferences, it provides a venue for industrialists, researchers, academics, and students engaged in the scientific development and practice of atomization to meet and share recent developments in the field. Topical areas include theory and modeling of the liquid breakup process, and applications ranging from biological and agricultural sprays, to combustion systems and engines, to deposition processes and coating, to industrial sprays.

The banquet dinner will be held on the Odyssey III. Voted Distinctive Passenger Vessel of 1995 by Marine Log and Outstanding Passenger Vessel of the Year by Maritime Reporter, Odyssey III is the only ship of its kind in the U.S.
Its unique design allows for travel beneath the historic bridges spanning the Potomac. Newlyrenovated,
glass-atrium dining rooms offer spectacular panoramic
views of the nation's greatest monuments. The exterior boasts an eighth of a mile open-air perimeter deck, perfect for watching the Potomac's historic shoreline drifting slowly by.
